Responsibilities
API Platform Engineering & Microservices Development
Cloud-Native Programming: Code, build, and maintain production-grade domain microservices and RESTful Web APIs written in .NET Core, generated from formal OpenAPI/Swagger specifications.
Event-Driven Architecture: Design and build asynchronous, event-driven streaming services that consume and populate data streams utilizing Apache Kafka.
Database & Storage Engineering: Architect data access layers to efficiently query and populate relational databases (PostgreSQL/MS SQL) and NoSQL repositories (MongoDB).
Container Orchestration: Deploy and scale applications encapsulated in Docker containers across enterprise Kubernetes topologies (both on-premises and AWS).
DevOps Optimization & SDLC Governance
Pipeline Integration: Enhance, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure orchestration workflows using tools such as Jenkins, Bitbucket, Artifactory, Ansible, and Gradle.
Defect Triage & System Optimization: Systematically identify, isolate, debug, and remediate performance bottlenecks, memory defects, and security vulnerabilities within services.
Requirement Synthesis: Analyze and document technical specifications for data formatting, logical workflow states, logical data structures, and systemic interface checks.
Cross-Functional & Production Support: Coordinate daily with distributed multi-site and offshore engineering teams. Provide tier-3 operational support, ensuring production runtime environment stability, uptime, and strict adherence to enterprise security standards.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive professional experience in software engineering and application analysis across the full application development life cycle (SDLC).
Core Technology Stack: Extensive, expert-level hands-on development experience building .Net APIs and managing integrations involving REST, SOAP, JSON, OpenAPI, and MS SQL.
Event-Driven Fluency: 1+ years of direct, practical development experience within an Event-Driven Architecture environment.
DevOps Foundation: Proven, referenceable experience deploying software utilizing standard automated DevOps pipelines and tools.
Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical equivalent field.
Soft Skills: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills; superior organizational capabilities; customer-obsessed mindset with a proven ability to lead and coordinate developer activities across cross-functional multi-site squads.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
