Responsibilities
Design System Leadership: Design and create reusable, scalable components in Figma, serving as a primary contributor to the platform's design language.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with developers to ensure technical feasibility and align designs with platform standards and engineering constraints.
Design Quality Assurance: Perform meticulous Design QA on final product implementations to ensure the live product matches design specifications perfectly.
Documentation: Write and maintain clear, concise documentation to guide other designers on the effective use of design system components.
Library Management: Publish and update design libraries in Figma, ensuring all assets are accessible, organized, and up to date for the broader team.
Accessibility & Compliance: Ensure all new components meet WCAG standards for inclusivity and stay updated on device-level compliance (e.g., evolving mobile display standards).
Qualifications
Education: A degree in Design, User-Centered Design, Visual Design, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Experience: 5+ years of professional experience designing interactive digital experiences, specifically focusing on UX and UI.
Technical Expertise: Extensive experience building, owning, and maintaining Design Systems and components within Figma.
Mobile Proficiency: A deep understanding of interaction and visual UI states for native mobile components (both iOS and Android).
Tooling: High proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator for custom assets and After Effects for animation/motion).
Communication: Proven ability to ask the right questions, translate complex conceptual ideas into customer-centric solutions, and integrate feedback constructively.
Problem Solving: A conceptual thinker who can balance "big picture" strategy with meticulous attention to detail.
Portfolio: A strong portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of user-centered design, branding principles, and responsive web/mobile applications.
