Responsibilities
Oversee, maintain, and reconcile project budgets and financial forecasts within enterprise PPM software.
Build complex financial models, variance analyses, and operational reports using advanced MS Excel capabilities.
Partner directly with Resource Managers to conduct capacity planning, monitor allocations, and project future staffing needs.
Collaborate with Project Managers and peer PCOs to ensure seamless alignment between delivery timelines and budget tracking.
Present actionable portfolio metrics, risk assessments, and financial updates to strategic stakeholders.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
5+ years of progressive experience as a Project Control Officer (PCO) or financial tracking specialist within IT organizations.
Advanced expertise in MS Excel for building financial forecasts, tracking sheets, and data reporting.
Experience or strong familiarity with Clarity (or comparable enterprise PPM tools) is highly preferred.
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is considered an asset.
Proven capacity to manage multiple priority projects concurrently in an agile environment.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Our client operates in Canada.
