Your Role
As our Senior Project Manager - Manufacturing, you'll take on meaningful challenges that make a lasting impact across the mill. Your responsibilities include:
- Lead capital projects from concept development through commissioning, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget execution.
- Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and corporate teams to identify opportunities and develop innovative technical solutions.
- Define project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and success criteria for major operational initiatives.
- Manage engineering design, equipment procurement, contractor oversight, and construction activities.
- Monitor project performance, risks, costs, and timelines while providing regular updates to site and corporate leadership.
- Lead continuous improvement, safety, reliability, and operational excellence projects across the facility.
- Collaborate with energy management teams to identify and implement sustainability and energy-efficiency initiatives.
What You Bring
You're a natural fit for this role if you have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of project management experience within manufacturing, industrial, process, or heavy industry environments.
- Proven experience leading capital projects from concept through startup and commissioning.
- Strong expertise in project budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and financial management.
- Experience managing contractors, construction activities, and cross-functional project teams.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards, risk management, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Outstanding leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
