Responsibilities
Manage the entire lifecycle of data and analytics projects, including data warehousing, business intelligence, and data science initiatives.
Coordinate with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, data architects, data engineers, and data scientists, to ensure project alignment.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, defining scope, schedules, budgets, and resource needs for data-specific deliverables.
Proactively manage risks and dependencies unique to data projects, such as data quality, governance, and platform integration.
Provide clear and consistent reporting on project status, KPIs, and outcomes to all levels of management.
Ensure project delivery adheres to both Agile and traditional methodologies, adapting the approach as needed for data-centric work.
Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of experience as an IT Project Manager.
Significant, demonstrated experience leading data-focused projects such as data warehouse implementation, data lake creation, business intelligence, or analytics platform deployment.
Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems, including concepts related to data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure).
Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse, high-level stakeholders.
Experience working in both Agile and traditional project environments is a strong asset.
Excellent written and oral proficiency in English is mandatory; professional fluency in French is a strong asset.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
