Responsibilities

Workplan & Schedule Management: Develop, maintain, and sequence integrated project plans, critical path milestones, and deliverable schedules.
Geospatial & Cloud Infrastructure Coordination: Oversee project delivery involving Esri-based geospatial platforms, cloud environments (Microsoft Azure), database platforms (Oracle Spatial, MS Fabric), and enterprise storage systems.
Fiscal Control & Budgeting: Manage large project budgets, overseeing financial forecasting, estimates, cost tracking, and actuals reconciliation.
RAID Management & Escalation: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks and issues, presenting clear options and recommendations to executive steering committees.
Governance & Compliance Oversight: Direct project workflows through corporate governance gates, including cybersecurity assessments, architecture reviews, and digital standards evaluations.
Resource Management & Team Leadership: Onboard and manage multi-disciplinary teams (unionized staff and fee-for-service consultants), clarifying accountabilities and resolving resource conflicts.
Stakeholder & Change Management: Facilitate executive steering committees, manage client expectations, and lead change management efforts to drive project adoption.
Qualifications
Project Management Seniority: Formal project management training with extensive experience leading large, technically complex IT projects from inception to completion (Strictly Required).
Esri & Geospatial Solutions Expertise: Proven experience leading projects involving Esri-based geospatial solutions, ArcGIS Portal, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Server, GIS infrastructure, middleware, and spatial databases (Strictly Required).
Cloud & Infrastructure Delivery: Demonstrated experience managing projects involving integrated networking technologies, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Spatial, MS Fabric, enterprise storage, and midrange servers (Strictly Required).
Governance & Review Coordination: Hands-on experience navigating projects through formal corporate reviews, including cybersecurity assessments and architecture review gates.
Financial & Risk Control: Proven ability to manage large project budgets, maintain fiscal accountability, and execute structured risk management strategies.
