Responsibilities
Lead and manage full lifecycle delivery for complex IT infrastructure and operational projects, controlling scope, schedule, cost, and risk management.
Coordinate release planning, system updates, and patching cycles to align with operational priorities and minimize service disruptions.
Engage and communicate effectively with executive leadership, client partners, and technical squads to drive alignment and timely decision-making.
Support day-to-day IT operations by coordinating incident management, managing service tickets, and facilitating change management processes (CRQs).
Drive infrastructure initiatives and manage enterprise engagement to ensure strict compliance with standards and governance frameworks.
Identify, evaluate, and mitigate project and operational risks, providing actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation, progress reports, and knowledge transfer artifacts to ensure long-term operational sustainability.
Lead and mentor diverse technical specialists across a wide range of product and infrastructure portfolios.
Qualifications
Project Management Seniority: 8 to 10+ years of demonstrated experience managing complex IT projects, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and operations environments (Strictly Required).
Public Sector Expertise: Proven experience successfully delivering IT initiatives within public sector or large enterprise frameworks (Strictly Required).
Technical Infrastructure Depth: Strong technical background spanning web applications, modern cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP), and hybrid environments (Strictly Required).
Product & Team Diversity: Proven track record managing a variety of technical products and leading diverse teams of technical specialists (Strictly Required).
People-First Leadership Approach: Demonstrated history of practicing a people-first management style to foster strong relationships and team cohesion (Strictly Required).
Operational & Release Coordination: Hands-on experience coordinating release planning, patching cycles, change requests (CRQs), and supporting incident/service management processes.
Soft Skills: Superior verbal and written communication, stakeholder influencing, decision-making, and conflict resolution capabilities.
Desirable Assets:
Practical familiarity with ITIL frameworks (Incident, Change, and Problem Management).
Understanding of enterprise governance and IT service engagement processes.
