Responsibilities
Execute direct field sales operations to expand market access across the Greater Toronto Area and key secondary provincial corridors.
Pitch premium capital assets and equipment options to specialized trades, building envelope contractors, and national/independent equipment rental centers.
Develop robust commercial relationships anchored on value-add positioning, quality, and performance rather than baseline market pricing.
Oversee customer delivery cycles, tracking client proposals, active orders, and tailored equipment placement projects from initiation to drop-off.
Collaborate closely with out-of-province engineering and technical support divisions to communicate custom client specifications.
Qualifications
Industry Foundation: Minimum of 3–5+ years of verified business development or account management experience within the commercial equipment rental, material handling, or heavy construction machinery spaces.
Sales Reflexes: Proven success navigating prolonged B2B sales cycles for premium industrial products; deep capability utilizing an existing professional network of local sub-contractors and fleet buyers.
Resilience & Autonomy: Exceptional self-start capabilities, a highly resilient approach to launching products into developing markets, and excellent interpersonal communication.
Language Asset: Professional working proficiency in French is considered a significant asset for seamless communication with the manufacturing facility, though not a strict requirement.
Logistics: Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to complete an initial one-week technical onboarding program out of province
