If so, our team is seeking a Senior SAP ABAP & Fiori Developer to support an enterprise transition from SAP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Private Edition). In this role, you will lead custom code remediation, design modern Fiori applications, remodel legacy reporting using CDS views and RAP, and migrate integration pipelines to SAP Integration Suite. You will work closely with system integrators and internal IT teams to maintain a "clean core" architecture while providing high-tier production support across Finance, Real Estate, Plant Maintenance, and Materials Management streams.

Responsibilities
- Analyze, remediate, and optimize legacy custom ABAP code to ensure full compatibility with S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.
- Leverage RESTful Application Programming (RAP) and ABAP CDS views to build modern applications, REST services, and embedded analytics.
- Configure, develop, and extend Fiori Elements and freestyle UI5 applications across front-end and backend layers.
- Support the migration of legacy PI/PO interfaces to SAP Integration Suite, building hybrid B2B/A2A integrations.
- Investigate and resolve production issues across Finance, MM, PM, PS, and Real Estate modules, while supporting annual SAP Support Package upgrades.
- Apply in-app extensibility frameworks to meet business needs while strictly minimizing core system modifications.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience (ABAP OO, debugging, and HANA-based SQL/code-pushdown optimization).
- Recent experience with S/4HANA (on-prem or private cloud), including involvement in at least 1 end-to-end conversion/implementation covering code remediation (SPAU/SPDD).
- Recent years experience in SAP integrations, including specifically delivering A2A, B2B, and hybrid integrations using SAP Integration Suite.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience in RAP delivering at least one end-to-end service or application.
- Recent years of experience in ABAP CDS views (data modeling, REST services, hierarchies, and embedded analytics).
- SAP Fiori / UI5: recent experience using Fiori/UI5 (configuration, standard extensions, Fiori Elements, freestyle UI5).
- Experience focused on in-app extensions adhering to clean core principles.
- Ability to custom design applications: designing, configuring, and deploying ground-up custom applications using ABAP Object-Oriented design principles.
- Strong functional-to-technical understanding of SAP Finance (FI/CO) workflows.
- Familiar with Agile environments utilizing Azure DevOps. Education: Degree or Diploma in Computer Information Systems or equivalent.
Asset Qualifications:
- Active SAP Certification.
- Prior development experience within a Canadian municipal or public sector environment.
