Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Facilitation: Lead all daily Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives) ensuring team alignment and continuous improvement.
Team Coaching & Servant Leadership: Mentor developers, product owners, and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum principles, self-organization, conflict resolution, and removing delivery impediments.
Requirements & Backlog Management: Collaborate with Product Owners to refine product backlogs, translate complex business needs into actionable user stories, and conduct gap analyses.
Business Process Modeling: Model current- and future-state business workflows using process flow diagrams and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) standards.
DevOps & Pipeline Collaboration: Facilitate alignment between development and operations teams within continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) environments.
Agile Metrics & Performance Tracking: Capture, analyze, and communicate Agile velocity metrics, Burndown charts, and sprint progress reports to drive predictable delivery schedules.
Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations, resolve team and cross-functional conflicts, and maintain a transparent, productive working environment.
Governance & Standards: Develop, customize, and communicate standardized IT project delivery guidelines, training materials, and methodology frameworks.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business, or a related field, along with a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification (Strictly Required).
Agile & Scrum Leadership: Proven track record leading Agile ceremonies, coaching Scrum principles, and managing cross-functional delivery teams (Strictly Required).
Business Analysis & BPMN: Strong proficiency in business process modeling (BPMN, flow diagrams) and gathering business requirements into actionable user stories (Strictly Required).
DevOps & Tooling Integration: Hands-on experience working in DevOps settings with CI/CD pipeline processes and Agile management tools (Jira, Confluence, Git) (Strictly Required).
Agile Metrics & Backlog Management: Demonstrated expertise in backlog refinement, stakeholder negotiation, and Agile metrics tracking (Burndown charts, velocity) (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Advanced certifications such as PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or PMI-ACP.
Prior Scrum Master or Business Analyst experience within a public sector or regulated industry environment.
