Responsibilities

Cloud & Databricks Data Architecture: Develop and optimize cloud-native data processing solutions using Azure (Data Factory, Azure SQL, Data Lake), AWS (Aurora, Glue, OpenSearch), and Databricks.
Database Modeling & SQL Optimization: Perform dimensional data modeling for data marts and enterprise data warehouses, writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and execution plans with a focus on performance tuning.
Data Integration & Cleansing: Implement data cleansing, validation, and transformation logic to ensure high data quality, source traceability, and accuracy for downstream analytics and Power BI dashboards.
Orchestration & Dependency Logic: Build, configure, and troubleshoot automated job schedules, execution dependencies, and pipeline orchestration logic.
Documentation & Mapping: Author comprehensive technical documentation, including ETL source-to-target mapping specifications, data model diagrams, pipeline architecture blueprints, and detailed design documents.
Source Control & DevOps: Utilize Git and source control strategies to manage code repositories, release scripts, and pipeline deployments across development, testing, and production environments.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to elicit data requirements, investigate pipeline anomalies, and present data-driven recommendations.
Qualifications
Microsoft Cloud & Analytics Stack: Hands-on experience developing data solutions with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Power BI (Strictly Required).
AWS Cloud Suite & Databricks: Demonstrated experience with Databricks Platform and AWS technologies including Amazon Aurora, Relational Database Search, AWS Glue, and OpenSearch (Strictly Required).
ETL Development & Dependency Orchestration: Proven experience developing initial and daily ETL pipelines, managing schedule/dependency logic across structured and semi-structured data stores (Strictly Required).
Data Warehousing & SQL Tuning: Extensive background in dimensional data modeling for data marts/warehouses, complex SQL query development, and database performance tuning (Strictly Required).
Technical Documentation & Source Control: Experience producing ETL source-to-target mappings, data model diagrams, and utilizing Git version control strategies (Strictly Required).
Experience designing visual dashboards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and scheduled/ad-hoc canned reports in Power BI.
