Responsibilities
Cloud Design & Enablement: Design, enable, and configure cloud environments across Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, and GCP, ensuring they meet the scale and complexity requirements of an enterprise environment.
Security & Compliance: Design and configure advanced security protocols for both existing and new cloud providers to ensure data integrity and system protection.
Infrastructure Engineering: Create and update provisioning pipelines by writing and maintaining provisioning code bases for infrastructure delivery.
Technical Development: Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested code. Develop detailed programming specifications and conduct rigorous unit testing.
Reusable Patterns: Develop complex setup patterns for public cloud providers to ensure efficiency and consistency across the organization.
Optimization & Support: Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems arising during the operation of software packages, providing technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migration activities.
Collaboration: Partner with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to elicit documentation, negotiate processes, and resolve operational issues.
Data & Reporting: Support data gathering and reporting initiatives related to cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications
Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing and enabling multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, IBM, Oracle, and GCP) at an enterprise or large industry scale.
Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience in programming, system analysis, and the use of object-oriented/third-generation language development tools.
Security Architecture: Deep knowledge of designing and configuring advanced security within cloud infrastructures, including cloud security groups and network access controls.
Development Skills: Proven ability to design, code, test, debug, and document applications using modern design patterns.
Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and navigate complex cloud incidents.
Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of working effectively with stakeholders, vendor partners, and diverse IT teams.
Agile/Methodologies: Experience with structured methodologies for the design, development, and maintenance of applications.
