Responsibilities
Solution Design & Strategy: Lead the development of complex solution architectures for the Maximo EAM platform. Oversee technical plans and partner with IT Enterprise Applications to ensure resource alignment.
Architectural Analysis: Provide expert advice based on in-depth analysis of the technical environment, enterprise-wide standards, and specific business requirements.
Technical Documentation: Plan and create high-level design drawings, design specifications, IT solution workflows, and detailed network architecture diagrams.
Prototyping & Visualization: Develop functional prototypes to communicate technical concepts and visual solutions to client groups and internal stakeholders for approval.
Integration & Standards: Act as the subject matter expert on technical integration, ensuring all changes and deviations from specifications adhere to security policies and enterprise standards.
Stakeholder Liaison: Facilitate large-scale technical architecture reviews. Negotiate with key stakeholders to select the most effective tools and technologies to benefit the company.
Technology Roadmapping: Monitor market trends and emerging technologies. Create technology roadmaps and provide impact assessments (threats/opportunities) to guide the client through long-term technology transitions.
Consulting & Guidance: Provide specialized guidance to delivery teams and contribute to the department's strategic planning process for short-to-medium-term solutions.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a significant focus on Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems.
Platform Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with IBM Maximo implementations and integrations is highly preferred.
Architectural Frameworks: Deep understanding of Enterprise Architecture principles and the ability to align solution designs with broader organizational frameworks.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in creating architectural artifacts, including network diagrams, data flow models, and functional prototypes.
Public Sector Knowledge: Experience navigating the constraints and objectives of public sector technology solutions and market trends.
Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities; a track record of facilitating complex decision-making meetings with senior leadership.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to translate long-term business objectives into actionable technical specifications and phased deployment plans.
