As a principal CRM solutions designer, you will bridge the gap between complex business requirements, cloud-based hosting technology designs, and hands-on Salesforce implementations. Operating fully remotely within Ontario, you will conduct fit/gap analyses, evaluate declarative configuration versus custom code strategies, design Salesforce Lightning Cloud components, and oversee seamless integrations with external applications. This position demands a certified Salesforce technical authority who can lead Agile sprint delivery, govern technical documentation, and ensure solutions meet strict performance, accessibility, and security standards.

Responsibilities
Architect, design, configure, and maintain enterprise CRM hosting solutions based on service specifications, standards, and cost models.
Conduct fit/gap analyses mapping Salesforce capabilities, cloud features, and AppExchange tools against complex business requirements.
Develop, configure, and customize solutions on the Salesforce Lightning Cloud platform (LWC), utilizing Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, SOSL, and Salesforce APIs.
Design and implement secure integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST/SOAP web services and OAuth/SSO protocols.
Evaluate declarative Salesforce configuration options against custom apex code to build maintainable, cost-effective solutions.
Lead root-cause analyses to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical defects, performance bottlenecks, and system incidents.
Support deployment and release pipelines across development, testing, and production environments using CI/CD tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams throughout the SDLC in an Agile/Scrum environment, managing user stories and sprint backlog items in Azure DevOps/Jira.
Ensure all designed solutions comply with digital accessibility guidelines (AODA/ODA), security profiles, and data sharing models.
Author comprehensive technical specifications, process maps, build books, and conduct structured knowledge transfer walkthroughs for project teams.
Qualifications
Core Requirements & Salesforce Mastery
Salesforce Experience: 5+ years of progressive hands-on experience solutioning, configuring, and developing in Salesforce, specifically within Public Sector Foundation and Sales Cloud environments.
Mandatory Salesforce Certifications:
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I (or equivalent experience)
Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer
Salesforce Certified Experience Cloud Consultant
Salesforce Certified Administrator
Platform Architecture & Development: Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Lightning Web Components (LWC), Apex, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, data loaders, and the Salesforce security sharing model.
