Responsibilities
Technical Architecture & Solution Design: Lead functional and technical solution design, authoring decision documents, technical specifications, and architectural frameworks for custom applications and enterprise integrations.
Maximo Platform Leadership: Oversee platform configuration, performance tuning, uptime optimization, and feature enhancements across IBM Maximo modules, including Work Order Management, Asset Management, and Preventive/Corrective Maintenance.
Maximo Upgrades & Development: Drive migration and upgrade pathways across Maximo versions (including 7.6, 7.6.1.2, and MAS 9.1), configuring automation scripts, reports, and system interfaces.
Cloud Transformation & Infrastructure: Guide enterprise cloud adoption, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC), software-defined infrastructure, and hybrid cloud deployment models.
Process Mapping & Technical Advisory: Map business workflows across the work order lifecycle, translating complex business processes into actionable user stories and functional requirements.
Data Migration & Strategy: Establish technical strategies for legacy data conversion, authoring functional data mapping specs and migration frameworks.
Vendor & Solution Oversight: Evaluate, verify, and validate vendor-provided technical solutions to ensure quality, security, and alignment with organizational IT strategies.
Testing & Quality Assurance Support: Prepare test plans, test scenarios, and execute functional, integration, regression, and performance testing while leading root-cause analysis for system defects.
Operational Transition & Sustainability: Assist business units with change management, production transitions, and post-implementation support to ensure long-term platform sustainability.
Qualifications
Software Development & Systems Seniority: 10+ years of hands-on software development, systems engineering, or technical leadership experience within complex technology environments (Strictly Required).
IBM Maximo Suite Expertise: Extensive knowledge of IBM Maximo applications (7.6, 7.6.1.2, and MAS 9.1), including Work Order Management, Asset Management, configuration, scripting, and ERP integrations (Strictly Required).
Enterprise Cloud Transformations: Proven experience leading enterprise-wide cloud transformations with working knowledge of Cloud adoption, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and public/private cloud systems (Strictly Required).
Technical Advisory & Work Order Lifecycle: Demonstrated consulting experience documenting technical designs and configuring applications to support work order lifecycles (preferably within the utilities sector) (Strictly Required).
Public Sector Expertise: Hands-on experience navigating IT architectures and delivery within public sector environments (Strictly Required).
Data Conversion & Quality Assurance: Proven track record authoring data migration specifications, executing test plans, and managing vendor deliverables.
Soft Skills: Superior interpersonal, facilitation, negotiation, and analytical skills with confidence communicating across all organizational levels.
