Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design and technical specification of complex, highly available enterprise applications and hosting technology solutions.
Backend & API Design: Architect robust backend architectures, RESTful Web Services, and relational database schemas using Java/JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and PL/SQL.
Enterprise Integration: Design message-oriented middleware architectures and enterprise service bus (ESB) flows utilizing technologies such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or MuleSoft.
Cloud & Messaging Solutions: Implement asynchronous and event-driven messaging solutions leveraging Spring Integration, JMS, AMQP, and REST APIs within Microsoft Azure integration environments.
System Analysis & Modeling: Gather technical requirements, translate business needs into system specifications, and construct UML design models, use cases, and solution prototypes.
Team Leadership & Technical Guidance: Serve as Team Lead, mentoring developers, directing technical task execution, facilitating design discussions, and reviewing code and architecture artifacts.
Performance & Governance: Conduct system performance assessments, capacity evaluations, and risk analyses while ensuring solutions adhere to enterprise security, recovery, and architecture standards.
Qualifications
Backend Design Seniority: 10+ years of hands-on backend design and development experience using REST Web Services, JPA, Hibernate, relational databases, SQL, and PL/SQL (Strictly Required).
Technical Team Leadership: Proven experience acting as a Team Lead, facilitating technical discussions, and directing development teams (Strictly Required).
Spring Integration Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework—specifically Spring Integration—with demonstrated experience architecting integration solutions (Strictly Required).
Middleware & ESB Platforms: Strong hands-on experience designing solutions with message-oriented middleware and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) platforms such as IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) or MuleSoft (Strictly Required).
Cloud & Messaging Protocols: Practical experience with cloud-based integration solutions and messaging technologies (JMS, AMQP, REST) within Microsoft Azure integration contexts (Strictly Required).
System Modeling & Analysis: Proven expertise in system analysis, requirement gathering, use case design, UML modeling, and database modeling (Oracle, SQL Server) (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
