Responsibilities
Serve as the strategic business lead and liaison between business units (Procurement, Legal, Finance) and IT delivery teams for the software rollout.
Define and champion the product vision, converting complex procurement workflows into actionable functional requirements and backlog priorities.
Guide executive leadership and key decision-makers on best practices for platform configuration and organizational change.
Facilitate interactive strategic alignment workshops to build consensus and drive solution adoption across business functions.
Partner with external software integrators and internal IT project leads to ensure delivered functionality matches business objectives.
Qualifications
10 to 12+ years of progressive leadership experience in procurement operations, supply chain strategy, or enterprise technology deployment.
Proven track record leading or advising on the enterprise deployment of major procurement software solutions (e.g., GEP, Coupa, Ariba, or similar S2P/SRM platforms).
Strong background bridging Product Owner and Product Management responsibilities, with deep domain knowledge of procurement and vendor management.
High-level executive presence, change management acumen, and experience leading senior stakeholder workshops.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both French and English.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
