We're looking for a Senior Technical Business Analyst for an initial 24 month contract. This position can work remotely but will require on-site meetings in Victoria, BC.

Responsibilities
- Ability to work alongside Project Managers to provide Technical Business Analysis
services throughout a project lifecycle
- Schedule, plan, and lead requirements-gathering and review sessions, and develop
business, functional, and technical requirements documentation
- Model and document key features, specifications, and constraints for technical solutions
- Facilitate requirements and solution design workshops with business areas and technical teams
- Demonstrate a deep technical awareness in data management and analysis, system architecture and integration, and software development life cycle
- Create and maintain standard project artefacts, including project scope, business requirements, process flow diagrams, test plans, communication plans, and operating models
Qualifications
1. Education:
- Undergraduate degree in Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preference may be given to candidates who hold a recognized Business Analysis
certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
2. Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience working on IT projects as a Senior Technical Business Analyst. More is preferred.
Preferences:
Consideration will be given to candidates with experience with one or more of the following technology areas in the following order of importance:
1. Microsoft M365 (OneDrive, Outlook Cloud, SharePoint, PowerBI, Visio, Teams)
2. Asset Management Program systems
3. SCADA
4. Distributed cloud initiatives: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
5. Proficiency in process modeling (Visio)
