Responsibilities
Technical Document Engineering: Translate highly complex technical requirements, systemic architectural blueprints, and engineering workflows into structured, professionally written project documents.
Cross-Functional Knowledge Gathering: Collaborate closely with solution architects, software developers, and other subject matter experts (SMEs) to extract and validate deep technical domain knowledge.
Requirements Consolidation & Synthesis: Synthesize fragmented, multi-disciplinary inputs into cohesive technical specifications, system dictionaries, and unified business requirements documentation.
Traceability Matrix Management: Establish and maintain comprehensive traceability frameworks mapping business needs to underlying technical specifications and project blueprints.
Quality Assurance & Verification: Review, audit, and refine active documentation to ensure absolute structural accuracy, completeness, and consistency with technical standards.
Deliverable Lifecycle Coordination: Manage multiple documentation tracks concurrently, identifying functional gaps or requirement inconsistencies to meet strict project deadlines.

Qualifications
Technical Writing Seniority: Minimum of 7 years of progressive, hands-on professional experience developing high-quality, formal technical project documents within enterprise IT environments.
Public Sector Expertise: Verified professional experience writing structured technical documentation and operational artifacts within a Canadian public sector framework.
Expert Content Translation: Demonstrated mastery in capturing highly complex technical inputs from developers and architects and translating them into clear, structured content for technical audiences.
Requirements Modeling Acumen: Proven experience building consolidated requirements specifications and managing technical-to-business traceability matrices.
Enterprise Toolchain Literacy: High proficiency utilizing standard documentation hubs and collaboration engines, including Microsoft Office, MS Word, and SharePoint.
