Responsibilities
Develop, validate, and maintain end-to-end solution architecture models, physical/logical diagrams, and technical artifacts using enterprise modeling tools like PowerDesigner and DevOps.
Provide architectural leadership and technical direction across business, information, application, technology, and security domains.
Identify technical risks and system bottlenecks, developing actionable mitigation strategies for project leads and executive stakeholders.
Facilitate architecture validation sessions and guide solution artifacts through formal enterprise gating and corporate architecture governance review points.
Design reusable reference architecture patterns, models, and frameworks to enable shared capabilities for future organizational initiatives.
Support Agile architecture delivery, conducting gap analyses between current-state systems and target future-state architectures.
Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions, ensuring complete documentation, source code repositories, and technical designs are seamlessly transitioned to internal teams.
Qualifications
Enterprise Architecture Mastery: Deep knowledge across all architecture domains (business, information, application, technology, and security), with proficiency in frameworks such as TOGAF or Zachman (Strictly Required).
Large-Scale Solution Delivery: 10+ years of experience delivering complex solution architectures and managing multi-system integrations within large, multi-project organizations (Strictly Required).
COTS & Application Modeling: Proven experience modeling solution requirements and components for enterprise-scale COTS platforms (Strictly Required).
Technical Modeling Tools: Hands-on experience creating modeling artifacts using tools such as PowerDesigner, Azure DevOps, or similar enterprise repository software.
Stakeholder Facilitation & Governance: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and consensus-building skills to lead architecture review meetings and navigate formal governance processes.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and compliance regulations (such as AODA guidelines).
