Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap Ownership: Define and articulate product visions, strategies, value propositions, and multi-year product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.
Backlog Management & Prioritization: Manage and groom product backlogs, authoring user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria while prioritizing sprint features.
Agile Team Leadership: Lead balanced delivery teams through Agile (Scrum) ceremonies, guiding product evolution across Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live delivery phases.
Risk Management & De-risking: Proactively identify risk events, technical bottlenecks, and adoption barriers, establishing early mitigation strategies and decision frameworks.
Release Decision Management: Determine release timelines and feature shipping milestones to ensure rapid value delivery and continuous end-user feedback loops.
Stakeholder Alignment & Executive Reporting: Facilitate steering committee forums, build consensus across business units, and present executive briefings, product status metrics, and dashboards to senior leadership.
Qualifications
Seniority & Experience: 10+ years of professional experience managing and delivering complex, high-visibility IT and product initiatives (Strictly Required).
Agile (Scrum) Delivery: Proven track record delivering products with balanced teams (UX designers, developers, product owners) using Agile (Scrum) methodologies (Scrum Master experience preferred) (Strictly Required).
Stakeholder Mediation & Relationship Management: Exceptional communication, mediation, and negotiation skills to align business teams and core technical members with product schedules (Strictly Required).
Proactive Risk Mitigation: Demonstrated experience identifying risk events and operational dependencies before they occur and developing mitigation strategies (Strictly Required).
Executive Communication: Superior presentation, verbal, and written communication skills with experience presenting to senior executives and steering committees (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Prior experience delivering digital services within public sector environments.
