Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors
Coordinate internal teams to enhance proactive vendor management
Analyze data to make sound business decisions and improve margins
Develop vendor performance scorecards, dashboards, and trend analysis
Organize routine business reviews with prime vendor partners
Develop and maintain a wide network of market intelligence
Manage multiple projects to drive efficiency and effectiveness
Ensure vendors operate in compliance with company policies
Develop and maintain knowledge of regulatory agencies' guidance
Support tracking and reporting of Risk Management metrics
Qualifications
University education with at least five years of related experience in vendor management/supplier relations
Advanced digital literacy using various software application packages (Ariba, SAP & VIM experience an asset)
Strong analytical capabilities and skills
Initiative in recognizing data issues/concerns and areas for improvement
Strong research and fact-finding capabilities with research and advisory companies
Results-oriented with a focus on quality and the ability to see the big picture
Strong leadership and facilitation skills
Ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt in changing environments, and manage time effectively
Strong business and financial acume
