Responsibilities
-Respond to customers in a timely manner in person, by phone or by e-mail
-Prepare quotations for small rush orders
-Conduct necessary product research in catalogs and online
-Verify that all items are available to the customer according to order and schedule
-Assume responsibility for establishing good relations with customers and associates
-Take initiative to replenish counter area as needed
-Load and unload products in a timely manner to meet delivery deadlines and customer commitments
-Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy
-Store products promptly in appropriate areas of the warehouse
-Prepare, pack and ship customer orders, including preparation of shipping documents
-Liaise with transport companies and internal/external customers to determine shipping priorities
-Ensure that safety and maintenance procedures are maintained in the shipping area
Qualifications
- Bilingual in French and English
-Previous technical sales or customer service experience in the wholesale or distribution sector required
-In-depth knowledge of plumbing
-General computer skills required, including Microsoft Office
-AS400 system experience an asset
-Must possess exceptional customer service and professional communication skills
