Responsibilities
• Managing, patching, and updating endpoints using MECM (SCCM) and Intune.
• Creating, updating and deploying packages using MECM (SCCM)
• Managing all device images. Updating and deploying when required.
• Create and distribute desktop, VM and VDI Terminal images.
• Create, maintain and distribute virtual applications for virtual and physical desktops.
• Managing desktop applications, patching environment to manage vulnerabilities
• Managing Windows environment. Performing In-Place and version upgrades
• Evaluate and test operating system security patches and upgrades and provide recommendations on reliability and validity.
• Managing service intake by providing incident resolutions for escalated tickets, and addressing requests assigned to Client Standards department.
• Ability to create scripts for automating and solutions.
• Maintain version and licensing controls for desktop applications.
• Setting hardware standards for all IT end user equipment
• Testing hardware compatibility
• Create procedures for hardware installations.
• Create, implement and revise group policies based on standards or best practices.
• Create, implement and revise procedures for software installation/configuration to meet business, IT support and the organization’s security needs.
• Test the compatibility of new and current software.
• Create test environments for new software evaluations.
• Schedule and execute Request for Change.
• Research technical and non-technical problems.
• Liaison with vendors for resolution and corrective action (e.g., Adobe products, Windows, office and mobile devices.).
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Experience with MECM (SCCM) and Intune managing endpoints.
• Completion of a recognized degree or diploma program in an IT related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, certification, and experience.
• Industry certifications such as A+, Network+, Linux+, RHCE, MCTS, MCITP, and/or CCNA.
• A minimum of 4 (four) years’ experience in an IT support and service delivery role supporting enterprise class systems and applications.
• Proven experience in superior customer service delivery and support.
• Proven project coordination experience.
Additional Requirements:
• Must have own Windows based computer with standard Windows 10 applications
• Must possess own communication device
