Responsibilities
Repair and diagnose equipment at customer sites, ensuring superior quality service.
Communicate effectively with coordinators, managers, and clients to assess needs, offer recommendations, and explain service options.
Provide regular updates to clients and complete necessary documentation quickly and accurately.
Identify future business opportunities and plan travel for maximum efficiency and profitability.
Contribute to a positive and safe work environment, reporting any potentially harmful situations.
Qualifications
A certifying training in industrial machine repair, industrial mechanics, heavy machinery, or automotive, or equivalent experience.
3 to 10 years of relevant experience in mechanical repair, ideally with rotating equipment or in the automotive industry, including skills in troubleshooting industrial equipment.
Mandatory certifications in WHMIS, forklift, and overhead crane, as well as a valid driver's license.
Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential. For roles located in Eastern Canada (Montreal, Quebec), professional proficiency in French (written and spoken) is also required.
Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, an ability to navigate various software systems (MS Office, ERP, CRM like Salesforce), and an aptitude for data entry and technical documentation.
Developed interpersonal skills, a strong customer orientation, the ability to work autonomously, and adaptability to various working conditions.
