We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join a growing team that specializes in covering equipment in the environmental, geotechnical and instrumentation markets.
You will be required to troubleshoot equipment and be the face of the company when out on service calls.

Please note in this role you must be comfortable with traveling 50% of the time, which might include US travel.
In order to be considered for this position you must have prior experience working with electronics, be able to calibrate and repair different equipment that is used in environmental space.

Responsibilities
- Perform calibrations and repairs correctly, on budget, and in a timely fashion
- Quote repairs, lead times, and terms to all customers and schedule timely follow-up
- Support all product Electrical Inspections
- Be a reliable service resource for external and internal customers
- Support to the Rental dept as directed by management
Qualifications
- Must have an extensive electrical background
- A post-secondary education in electronics technician/technologist is preferred
- A post-secondary education in electrical or electro/mechanical is an asset
- Strong troubleshooting skills with an ability to work through service manuals and schematics
- Possess an avid knowledge of using power and hand tools and exhibit advanced disassembly/assembly and soldering skills
- Three to four years of industry-related disciplines
