We are currently hiring for Sewing Associates for a 3 month contract with possibility for extension and even full time for the right candidate. If you are a student on academic drop or scheduled break and willing to do general labor work, we can hire you!
Location: Gurney Crescent North York ON
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 4:30pm-1:00am
Pay rate: $20/hr

Responsibilities
● Sew with Precision: You'll use a Juki zig-zag machine to stitch letters and numbers
onto jerseys. Your stitches must be precise, as we cannot afford any mistakes.
● Work Quickly: You will work in a fast-paced environment to help the team meet
production goals.
● Follow Instructions: You'll need to listen carefully and follow all instructions from your
supervisor and team leaders.
● Communicate Effectively: You'll work closely with other team members to make sure
the work flows smoothly. This means you need to have good communication skills.
● Quality Check: You'll be responsible for making sure every stitch is perfect.
● Safety: You'll follow all safety rules in the sewing area.
● Machine Care: You'll help make sure your machine is clean and running correctly.
Qualifications
At least 2-3 years of experience with industrial sewing machines, especially Juki
zig-zag machines.
● The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
● A strong focus on precision and a great eye for detail.
● Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
● The ability to follow instructions carefully.
