Our client is seeking experienced Salesforce Product Business Analysts to join their Sales Cloud Product Team. These analysts will help accelerate delivery of the Salesforce product backlog by supporting all stages of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) — from requirements analysis through testing and user acceptance.
...
This is a hands-on, platform-oriented role. The ideal candidates enjoy working directly inside Salesforce, performing declarative (low-code) configurations, and collaborating with business stakeholders to translate needs into scalable, maintainable solutions that help the client's sales and service agents sell more effectively.
• Location: Remote / Hybrid GTA preferred
• Hours: Full-time, standard business hours (EST)
• Start: As soon as possible
Advantages
This is a "hands-on, platform-oriented role," not just a documentation position. You will be actively building solutions using some of the most in-demand declarative tools in the Salesforce ecosystem, including:
Flow Builder: The future of Salesforce automation.
Lightning App Builder & Dynamic Forms: Key for creating modern, efficient user interfaces.
Validation Rules & Formula Fields: Core skills for maintaining data integrity and business logic.
This hands-on experience is incredibly valuable for career growth and marketability.
Responsibilities
End-to-End Delivery Support
Partner with the Product Owner to refine and prioritize the backlog.
Carry stories through the full SDLC — from analysis and documentation to configuration, testing, and UAT validation.
Support developers, testers, and business users by ensuring clarity of requirements, acceptance criteria, and test cases.
Validate configuration changes in lower environments and assist with release readiness.
Requirements & Story Development
Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews to elicit business requirements.
Translate needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows using Azure DevOps and Lucidchart.
Analyze current Salesforce configurations and recommend declarative enhancements.
Configuration / Low-Code Development
Perform Salesforce declarative configurations, including:
Flow Builder (record-triggered and screen flows)
Validation Rules and Formula Fields
Lightning Record Pages, Dynamic Forms, and App Builder changes
Reports, Dashboards, and List Views
Collaborate with developers on complex automation or integration work that extends beyond declarative capability.
Testing & UAT Coordination
Develop and execute test cases to validate functionality.
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders.
Track and resolve defects; ensure post-deployment verification.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
Maintain clear, consistent documentation in Azure DevOps, including linked tasks and test cases.
Contribute to release notes, training materials, and platform usage guides.
Proactively suggest UI/UX improvements and process optimizations that enhance agent productivity.
Qualifications
3–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant within Salesforce environments.
Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud (opportunity management, pipeline optimization, lead conversion, and sales enablement).
Proven ability to configure Salesforce declaratively using Flow, Validation Rules, and Lightning tools.
Experience supporting all stages of the SDLC within Agile teams.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, security, and relationships.
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder facilitation experience.
Nice-to-Have Experience
Salesforce Administrator or Business Analyst Certification.
Exposure to CPQ, MuleSoft integrations, or downstream marketing/sales processes.
Familiarity with energy or utilities industry sales cycles.
Experience creating test plans and managing UAT sign-off.
Knowledge of Agile estimation, sprint planning, and release management practices.
Tools & Environment
Salesforce Sales Cloud (primary platform)
Azure DevOps (for stories, test cases, and documentation)
Lucidchart (process visualization)
MS Teams (collaboration)
Agile / Scrum delivery methodology
Summary
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on analyst who can support the entire software development lifecycle. Responsibilities include partnering with stakeholders to define requirements, writing user stories in Azure DevOps, and performing declarative configurations using tools like Flow Builder and Lightning App Builder. You will also create test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
