Responsibilities
• Operate and precisely adjust the Heidelberg XL 106 (40") and/or the 6-color Man Roland press (56").
• Make necessary adjustments to ensure perfect registration and consistent color precision.
• Actively monitor production to prevent and instantly correct any printing defects.
• Perform regular press maintenance to ensure the longevity and performance of manufacturing & logistics equipment.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to optimize workflows.
• Strictly meet production deadlines and rigorous quality requirements.
• Read and interpret work orders to determine color sequences and required quantities.
• Install plates and cylinders while performing the necessary make-ready adjustments.
• Fill ink fountains and adjust viscosity to achieve the desired color density.
• Evaluate printed samples via the computerized control console to validate compliance with standards.
Qualifications
• Advanced mastery of computerized control consoles for offset presses.
• Technical analytical skills to diagnose color and registration issues.
• High manual dexterity for fine mechanical adjustments.
• Excellent color perception (a color vision test may be required).
• Strong organizational skills to manage production priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing & logistics environment.
• Team spirit and proactive communication with press assistants.
• Possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience on large format offset presses (40" or larger).
