Responsibilities
Receiving: Inspect incoming shipments against packing slips/bills of lading (BOL), check for damage, and log items accurately into the warehouse system.
Shipping: Prepare, package, band, shrink-wrap, and label outbound orders according to customer requirements.
Material Handling: Safely operate forklifts (Counterbalance/Reach) or hand trucks to unload trailers and stage inventory throughout the facility.
Documentation & Data Entry: Generate shipping labels, print BOLs, and perform basic inventory updates using Excel or ERP software.
Cross-Functional Support: Assist with inventory cycle counts, stock organization, and general shop floor upkeep during quiet dock periods.
Qualifications
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a Shipping/Receiving or Warehouse role.
Equipment Experience: Valid Forklift License (Counterbalance, Stand-up Reach, or Raymond Reach) is considered a strong asset.
Physical Capability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs comfortably and stay active throughout an 8-hour shift.
Tech Comfort: Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, or warehouse software/RF scanners).
Attention to Detail: Sharp eye for verifying part numbers, quantities, and inspecting incoming goods for damage.
Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to workplace safety standards.
