Responsibilities
Your main duties include:
Receiving and inspecting parts (valves, motors, etc.) and unloading delivery trucks.
Comparing the contents of shipments to delivery slips or invoices and reporting damages or discrepancies.
Managing inventory: storing received goods in designated areas and maintaining accurate records in the computer system.
Preparing outbound orders: packaging, labeling, and verifying the appropriate documentation.
Coordinating activities with buyers and supervising the loading and unloading of trucks.
Collaborating with other departments (inside sales, procurement, after-sales service) to ensure the fluidity of operations.
Qualifications
To be considered for this Shipping/Receiving Clerk job in the manufacturing and logistics sector, the requirements are:
2 to 4 years of experience in a similar warehouse clerk or logistics role.
Valid driver's license and valid forklift license.
Knowledge of inventory management, goods registration, and stock databases.
High School Diploma (Secondary V), DEC in Administration, or a combination of management certificates or relevant experience.
Understanding of purchasing processing procedures and logistical error resolution (shipments, delays).
