Shift: 9 am - 5 pm, Mon-Fri
1 year contract position

Responsibilities
• Receive and inspect incoming vision care products and manufacturing materials to ensure quality and quantity compliance.
• Log all incoming goods into the internal tracking system with high attention to detail.
• Prepare, pack, and secure outgoing shipments according to industry standards for fragile optical goods.
• Generate shipping labels and coordinate with couriers for timely pickups.
• Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory to optimize space and accessibility.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively with the production and sales teams regarding shipment status.
• Resolve any discrepancies in shipping or receiving documentation promptly.
Qualifications
Requirements
• Proven experience as a Shipper & Receiver or in a similar warehouse role.
• Previous experience in manufacturing & logistics is considered a strong asset.
• Reliable transportation to the North York location for a 9 am start.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to warehouse protocols.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory counting and verification.
Skills
• Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on inventory accuracy.
• Strong attention to detail, specifically for reading small print and serial numbers on vision care products.
• Proficiency in using basic computer software and inventory management systems.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with couriers and internal departments.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a busy manufacturing & logistics setting.
• Problem-solving mindset to handle shipping delays or damaged goods.
• Physical stamina to remain on your feet and perform manual handling tasks throughout the shift.
