Responsibilities
- Inventory Control: Maintain meticulously accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock movements are properly documented, including entries and exits.
- Work Order Management: Generate, process, and close all shipping and receiving work orders within the company's computer system.
- Material Transfer: Accurately and promptly transfer stock within the facility, ensuring easy product management.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare all necessary shipping documents (bills of lading, invoices, labels, etc.) and ensure their compliance.
- Goods Verification: Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages, and reject damaged goods.
- ERP System Use: Utilize the ERP system to log data, verify stock locations, and manage all receiving and shipping processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as a Shipping and Receiving Clerk or in a similar role.
- Systems Knowledge: A demonstrated working knowledge of ERP systems is mandatory; experience with SAP is a very valuable asset.
- Physical Ability: Being comfortable with physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving materials in a warehouse.
Equipment Certification: A forklift certification and/or experience using material handling equipment is highly desirable.
