Responsibilities
- Inbound Logistics: Offload transport trucks, verify incoming shipments against Bills of Lading (BOL), inspect cargo quality, and log stock figures.
- Outbound Operations: Secure, package, shrink-wrap, and stage outgoing orders to strict customer specifications.
- Equipment & Material Handling: Safely maneuver power industrial equipment (Counterbalance, Stand-up Reach) and manual pallet trucks.
- Inventory Tracking: Operate RF scanners, maintain accurate inventory records, and enter freight metrics into basic ERP/Excel systems.
- Stock Accuracy & Dock Maintenance: Conduct routine cycle counts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain a safe, clean loading area.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of shipping/receiving or industrial warehouse experience.
- Licenses: Active Forklift Certification (Counterbalance and/or Raymond Reach) is a strong asset.
- Physical Capability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and remaining active across an 8-hour shift.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with RF handheld scanners and entry-level PC applications/data entry.
- Detail-Oriented: Demonstrated precision when cross-checking shipping labels, manifest numbers, and product counts.
