Responsibilities
What you will be doing as a Shipping Logistics Coordinator:
• Shipping of Canadian and US orders:
-Prepares all required shipping documentation
-Books carriers (i.e. FEDEX type, those that are web-based)
-Generates paperwork for all warehouse transfers
-Scans BOL and sends to Toronto daily.
-Preparing delivery slips and Dangerous Goods documents
• General administrative tasks in the office involve answering phone calls and door
inquiries, monitoring the front entrance security camera, and guiding visitors
through security protocols such as signing in, reviewing safety guidelines, and
wearing visitor badges.
• Proving support to the CSR team as required
Qualifications
What YOU will bring to the table:
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Experience with preparing required documentation for shipping
• Understanding of supply chain, current national and international import/export regulatory requirements.
• Ability to operate a computer with Microsoft Office and other proprietary/data
entry software.
• High attention to detail and sense of urgency
• Able to prioritize tasks according to time sensitivity
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to be a team player and assist CSR team when needed.
