We are currently seeking reliable and safety-focused Shunt Truck Operators / General Labourers to join a busy Production Plant and Warehouse environment. The primary focus of this role is operating a shunt truck to move trailers, products, and materials safely within the yard and facility while also assisting with general labour and plant support duties as required. Responsibilities
• Operate a shunt truck safely and efficiently within the facility and yard
• Observe and follow all workplace safety policies and PPE requirements
• Assist with loading and unloading pallets and products
• Palletize, bag, count, pack, and label products
• Clean and maintain production and warehouse work areas
• Shovel grain spills and assist with sanitation duties as required
• Follow directions from supervisors and plant operators
• Assist production operators and warehouse personnel as needed
• Support daily plant operations and general labour activities
• Work both indoors and outdoors as required
Qualifications
• Previous shunt truck driving experience strongly preferred
• Production plant or industrial labour experience is considered a strong asset
• Warehouse and general labour experience preferred
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs consistently
• Ability to work safely and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working rotating shifts (days, afternoons, and nights)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance record
• Safety-focused attitude with strong teamwork skills
