Site Coordinator — Workforce & Account Management
Large-scale distribution centre — Beauharnois, QC Full-time · 100% on-site
Contract — 3 months + (permanent potential) $24–$29/hour
Bilingual FR/EN — mandatory Vehicle required Weekly pay
About the role:
...
Randstad Canada is looking for an exceptional Site Coordinator to join our team and serve as the primary on-site workforce partner for one of our most important distribution clients in the Beauharnois area. This is not a typical supervisory role — the Site Coordinator acts simultaneously as an HR advisor, a people manager, a client partner, and an operational anchor for a high-volume workforce.
If you're someone who thrives when no two days are the same, who genuinely cares about the people they work with, and who knows how to hold a team accountable with clarity and respect — this is the role for you. The Site Coordinator position starts as a 3-month contract with strong potential to extend and convert to a permanent opportunity based on performance.
This position requires full professional bilingualism in both French and English. The workforce at this distribution centre operates in both languages. This requirement is non-negotiable — applications from candidates who are not bilingual will not be considered.
The client site in Beauharnois is not accessible by public transit. The Site Coordinator must have access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver's licence. This is a firm requirement.
Advantages
As a Site Coordinator with Randstad Canada, you will benefit from:
•$24–$29 per hour: Commensurate with experience
•Weekly pay: Paid every week, without fail
•Benefits from day one: Full insurance coverage through Randstad Canada
•Permanent potential: 3-month contract with strong possibility of extension and permanency
•Overtime available: Opportunity to increase your earnings
•Free on-site parking: No daily parking costs
•Referral bonus: Earn up to $250 for every successful referral you send our way
•Major client site: Work alongside a world-class operation and grow your professional network
Responsibilities
As Site Coordinator, you will be the face of Randstad on-site — a visible, trusted, and proactive presence for both the workforce and the client. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
•Workforce onboarding & integration — Welcome, orient, and integrate new employees into the client's operations. Ensure every new hire understands their role, their environment, and what success looks like from day one.
•Scheduling & attendance management — Own the daily workforce schedule. Manage absences, last-minute shift changes, and volume fluctuations with speed and accuracy. Ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time.
•Performance coaching & employee support — Be a consistent, approachable presence on the floor. Coach employees who are falling short of expectations, recognize those who are excelling, and escalate when progressive discipline is required — including issuing written warnings and, when necessary, coordinating terminations.
•Client relationship management — Build and maintain a strong, trust-based partnership with the client's operations leadership. Understand their daily needs and strategic direction, anticipate problems before they arise, and communicate proactively rather than reactively.
•On-site HR advisory — Act as the Randstad employer-of-record representative for the workforce. Handle employment relations matters, ensure compliance with applicable Québec employment standards, and serve as the first point of contact for any workforce issue — from a conflict between team members to a health and safety concern.
•Reporting & KPI monitoring — Track and report on attendance, productivity, absenteeism, and workforce health metrics. Use data to identify trends, flag risks early, and demonstrate the value of the solutions you're delivering.
•Talent pipeline collaboration — Work closely with your Randstad recruiting team to forecast upcoming workforce needs, communicate volume and quality feedback, and ensure the pipeline stays ahead of the client's demands.
•Workplace culture & team morale — Foster a positive, respectful, and motivated work environment. You set the tone — and you know it.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
•The client sees you as a strategic partner — not a vendor contact.
•Your workforce shows up, performs, and stays — because they feel managed with fairness and respect.
•Attendance and performance issues are addressed early, not escalated after they become crises.
•New hires reach productivity faster because your onboarding is structured and human.
•You communicate proactively — your client and your Randstad manager are never surprised.
•You use data to back your decisions — not just instinct.
Qualifications
The ideal Site Coordinator candidate brings the following:
•Full bilingualism in French and English — spoken and written, professional level. Mandatory. No exceptions.
•Experience in personnel management or HR coordination — You have supervised a team, coached performance, and navigated employee relations. You know how to have difficult conversations with empathy and authority.
•Familiarity with warehouse, distribution, or industrial environments — You understand the pace, the physical demands, and the culture of high-volume operations. You don't need the environment explained to you.
•Strong organizational and prioritization skills — Multiple things will land on your plate at once. You triage calmly, communicate clearly, and nothing falls through the cracks.
•Natural relationship-building instincts — You earn trust quickly — with frontline workers and with client leadership. You listen before you act, and people notice.
•Resilience and accountability — You hold a high standard for yourself and your team, and you do it without losing the human touch.
•Comfort with reporting and data — You track what matters, report accurately, and use numbers to tell a story, not just fill a spreadsheet.
•Valid driver's licence and personal vehicle — Required to access the client site, which is not served by public transit.
•Physical stamina — This role involves being present and mobile on the floor throughout your shift. You are comfortable standing and walking for extended periods.
