This role is a Site Inspector / Contract Administration mix so the opportunity to learn and grow within the Contract Administration space exists. Priority is experience in Site Inspection, Contract Admininstration is an asset.

Responsibilities
-Infrastructure Oversight: Perform rigorous field inspections for the construction of roads, storm/sanitary sewers, watermains, and stormwater management facilities.
-Standards Compliance: Verify that all grading and installation work aligns perfectly with design drawings, municipal specifications, and provincial standards.
-Project Documentation: Maintain precise daily records of site conditions, field measurements, and work progress while tracking construction quantities.
-Administrative Liaison: Assist with contract administration duties, including facilitating site meetings and preparing formal meeting minutes with contractors.
Qualifications
-Academic Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant combination of education and hands-on field experience.
-Professional Designations: C.E.T. certification (or eligibility) is considered a strong asset for this role.
-Field Expertise: A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil construction, with a solid understanding of heavy equipment safety and tender documents.
-Logistics: Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle for travel to various site locations.
