In this role, you will act as the digital voice of a leading Canadian brand across various platforms, creating and sharing content to delight customers and help them get the most out of our products and services. • Content Creation: Develop, write, and produce platform-native content (posts, short-form video, event photography, and social copy) aligned to the brand voice and business priorities.
• Strategic Distribution: Publish and distribute content strategically across social channels, ensuring optimal timing, format, and platform best practices.
• Partner Collaboration: Leverage partner relationships to extend the impact of content, working alongside Sponsorship and Media teams to maximize reach, engagement, and campaign performance.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the organization to support campaigns, product launches, corporate initiatives, and customer support needs.
• Reactive Marketing: Support real-time and reactive content opportunities, ensuring the brand remains culturally relevant and responsive.
• Brand Governance: Uphold brand standards and governance, ensuring all social activity reflects corporate values, tone, and accessibility requirements.
Analytics & Paid Amplification
• KPI Tracking: Monitor performance and community health, tracking KPIs related to reach, engagement, growth, and sentiment.
• Reporting: Analyze and report on social performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve content, campaigns, and community strategies.
• Social Listening: Leverage social listening and community monitoring to surface trends, risks, and opportunities, feeding insights back to marketing, product, PR, and customer service teams.
• Paid Media Collaboration: Collaborate on paid social amplification, including boosting high-performing organic content to maximize reach and campaign ROI.
Qualifications
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, with a proven ability to build and engage active online communities.
• Education: University or College degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, and/or relevant equivalent job experience.
• Language & Communication: Excellent writing and text revision skills (French and English), alongside strong translation skills (English to French).
• Technical Savvy: Experience planning and executing paid social campaigns, with strong analytical skills to measure performance.
• Platform Proficiency: Highly familiar with the distinct capabilities and limitations of various social channels and platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok, LinkedIn).
• Project Management: Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and ideas in a simple, engaging format.
• Interpersonal Skills: Creative, diplomatic, and cool under pressure, with fantastic relationship-building skills and a high receptiveness to feedback.
