Responsibilities
Development & Lifecycle: Design, develop, integrate, test, transition to production, and maintain core Advisor Compensation systems.
Production Support: Provide ongoing daily production support, application monitoring, and tuning, including participating in an incident monitoring rotation.
Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to permanent problem elimination by identifying solutions, scoping the work, and executing changes.
Project Delivery: Complete development assignments as assigned by the team leader and provide consulting support for applications to broader project teams.
Best Practices: Create and update development documentation, maintaining an inventory of technical expertise and best practices.
Qualifications
Education: Degree or diploma in a related discipline (Computer Science) or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Core Technical Experience: Proven training, knowledge, and experience working with Siebel.
Methodology & Design: Strong understanding of software design methodologies, software requirements analysis, design principles, and documentation tools.
QA Focus: Demonstrated experience in the quality assurance, testing, and remediation of business applications (including development and execution of test plans).
Value-Add Skills (Assets): Previous exposure to job scheduling and file transfer tools is considered a strong asset.
Professional Skills: Effective planning and organizational skills; demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems; excellent verbal and written communication skills for both in-person and remote collaboration.
