In this high-impact mobile development role, you will lead the architecture, design, and implementation of complex, enterprise-grade iOS applications. Operating within a fast-paced 2-week Agile sprint cycle, you will build modern, fluid user interfaces utilizing SwiftUI and implement high-performance asynchronous networking using modern Swift Concurrency (Async/Await). You will be responsible for enforcing strict code quality standards—maintaining a minimum of 80% test coverage through comprehensive XCTest, Swift Testing, and Snapshot testing suites. Working alongside cross-functional developers, architects, and product leads, you will also mentor junior team members, author clear technical documentation, and contribute to continuous CI/CD delivery pipelines.
Duration: 1-Year Contract (with high potential for extension)
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days per week on-site at the corporate office; Anchor day: Thursday, with 2 flexible on-site days and 2 WFH days)
Advantages
High-Impact Mobile Platform Scope: Direct the architectural evolution and feature delivery for high-concurrency, enterprise mobile applications.
Modern Apple Tech Stack: Work extensively with modern iOS frameworks, including SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency (Async/Await), and cutting-edge testing libraries.
Substantial Contract Engagement: Secure a full 1-year consulting contract within a stable, highly funded enterprise mobile engineering team.
Predictable Hybrid Cadence: Enjoy a flexible hybrid work schedule with a single fixed anchor day (Thursday) and low meeting overhead.
Responsibilities
Enterprise iOS Engineering: Architect, build, and maintain high-quality iOS applications utilizing Swift, Objective-C, and SwiftUI with a focus on adaptive UI design and modular, reusable component libraries.
Asynchronous Architecture: Implement scalable, fault-tolerant network layers and background tasks using modern Swift Concurrency (Async/Await).
Test Automation & Quality Control: Author comprehensive unit, integration, and UI tests using XCTest, Swift Testing, and Snapshot tests to guarantee a minimum 80% code coverage threshold.
Agile Execution: Actively participate in 2-week Agile sprint ceremonies, complete action tickets on schedule, and participate in peer code reviews and technical design discussions.
Mentorship & Documentation: Provide technical leadership and guidance to peer developers, maintain clear architecture documentation, and support mobile release readiness.
Qualifications
Swift & Objective-C Mastery: 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with the Swift programming language, paired with a solid working knowledge of Objective-C.
SwiftUI Expertise: 2+ years of hands-on experience building adaptive, responsive user interfaces using SwiftUI and modular component frameworks.
Swift Concurrency: 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing Swift Concurrency (Async/Await) in production applications.
Rigorous Testing Standards: Demonstrated ability to write unit and visual regression tests using XCTest, Swift Testing, and Snapshot testing, consistently achieving 80%+ test coverage.
Soft Skills & Leadership: Strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent technical documentation abilities; proven track record mentoring or leading engineering team members.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Hands-on experience integrating Apple Pay and Apple Wallet (PassKit) APIs.
Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools (GitHub Actions, workflows).
Automation scripting skills utilizing Ruby, Python, YAML, or Bash for development workflow optimization.
Prior mobile development experience within a Banking, Financial Institution, or Fintech environment.
Summary
If you are a tech-savvy Solutions Developer V who pairs 10+ years of iOS engineering experience with expert command of SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency (Async/Await), and robust unit testing practices (80%+ coverage), this 1-year hybrid contract is an outstanding opportunity. Bring your mobile architecture precision, testing discipline, and collaborative leadership to our client's engineering team today!
