Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting, including financial statement preparation, variance analysis, and complex reconciliations for a dedicated portfolio.
- Act as the primary financial contact for Property Managers to resolve ledger issues, rent roll discrepancies, and tenant account inquiries.
- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, mortgage reconciliations, and capital asset schedules.
- Prepare audit-ready working papers and ensure strict compliance with internal controls.
- Leverage Yardi Voyager to streamline reporting, enhance ERP efficiency, and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive property accounting experience.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and Yardi Voyager experience are required
- Post-secondary degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation (or activlely pursuing) is preferred.
- A detail-oriented problem solver who thrives on meeting deadlines and elevating industry standards.
- A collaborative communicator who enjoys sharing knowledge and empowering others to succeed.
