Responsibilities
•Participate in the architecture phase for the replacement of the client’s primary data center storage solution (Netapp) and improvements to the client’s backup solution (Commvault)
•Document and socialize the architecture changes for feedback and approvals
•Provide technical expertise during the implementation phase of installing and configuring the client’s new primary data center storage solution and Commvault changes
•Participate in Operational support; patching, evergreening and incident management
•Ongoing activities and deliverable, as required
Qualifications
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
•Minimum of five (5) years of experience in testing or/and operation or/and development or/and integration in Storage environments
•Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Storage equipment, specifically with NetApp and CommVault technologies
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Hyperscale
•Demonstrated knowledge and experience in IT Operations work, including the operational capabilities and typical challenges of IT Operations
•Demonstrated ability to drive the development process (supporting continuous integration and deployment) from idea to implementation
•Demonstrated experience with scalable and highly available service-oriented architectures
•Demonstrated experience in working with Agile methodology
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
•Demonstrated experience in working with ServiceNow
•Demonstrated experience in working with Azure Storage methodologies
•Demonstrated experience in Cisco technologies (Cisco 9K, APIC)
