Reporting to the Sales VP North America, the Strategic Account Manager – Walmart (US) contributes to the development and execution of the commercial strategy for our Walmart portfolio. As a key member of the team managing this major account, you evaluate sales opportunities, support the major‑account pipeline, and help deliver the group’s commercial objectives. You develop value‑added propositions for Walmart and propose integrated solutions that align with business opportunities, customer needs, and market context, all to support the achievement of sales targets in collaboration with the broader account team.
You will work closely with Marketing to gain a deep understanding of business lines (growth, trends, competitive positioning), provide insights on account prioritization, and support strategic planning. You will also establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision‑makers across Walmart and foster long‑term partnerships. Finally, you will optimize Cascades’ sales and revenue growth by closely monitoring the development and performance of this major account and by providing input on operational plans and tactics.
Experience with Walmart US and strong knowledge of key retailer KPIs (On‑Shelf Availability, OTIF, forecast accuracy, sales performance and compliance) are critical to succeeding in this role.
***Ideal location: Bentonville, Arkansas (Walmart HQ). Remote candidates within the US will be considered with the expectation of regular travel***

- Ability to navigate large organizations (internal & external) and build multi‑level partnerships to guide decisions.
- Strong understanding of P&L, margins and revenue levers.
- Knowledge of Walmart ecosystem: replenishment, merchandising, supply chain, compliance, performance levers.
- Hands‑on use of strategic selling methodologies and proven success managing major accounts.
- Ability to develop account strategies, segmentation insights, market tendencies and competitive intelligence.
- Strong partnership mindset—balancing customer priorities with Cascades’ strategic objectives (“Partner of Choice”).
- Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Capacity to lead and collaborate within a matrixed environment and influence cross‑functional teams.
- Data fluency: ability to interpret insights (Excel, Power BI)

- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Min 5+ years of experience directly with Walmart US. Strong attitude and customer‑centric mindset may outweigh total years.
- Strong financial acumen and structured account‑planning capabilities.
- Project‑management skills and operational/supply‑chain understanding.
- Hunter attitude, initiative and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment while maintaining team belonging and engagement.
