Responsibilities
•Manage purchasing of materials, components, and equipment
•Coordinate with engineering and production teams to understand material requirements
•Track orders and ensure timely delivery from suppliers
•Maintain accurate inventory levels and records
•Work with vendors to negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms
•Monitor and resolve supply chain issues or delays
•Follow up on upcoming orders and develop risk mitigation strategies to prevent delays
•Update and maintain ERP system with purchase orders and inventory data
•Ensure proper labeling and organization of incoming materials
•Support cost reduction and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field
•3+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or logistics
•Experience in manufacturing or machinery industry is preferred
•Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management
•Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
•Good communication and negotiation abilities
