The Systems & Security Support Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and ongoing
management of robust security measures across digital and physical domains.
Advantages
External-Customer Focus:
o Support customers by giving detailed information about integration specifications as part
of the onboarding process of new customers.
o Provide ongoing Technical support for the various integration options (supported by the
central (PostNL) IT integrations team). The role may include trouble-shooting and
offering customers technical user training.
o Align with customer IT teams to support with IT integrations
o Answer any IT related questions customers might have related to our services (pre- and
post-sales)
o Support in any RFIs and RFPs as required
Responsibilities
Be considered as the “Go to person” on all IT related (network, hardware, software) topics
for our client
Internal-IT:
o Support the Operations department on IT related topics (i.e. hardware set-up and
software updates)
o Support Sales department with pre and post-sales IT integrations (e.g. API, Platform, &
etc.)
o Ensure licensing software is up-to-date (i.e. Microsoft, Adobe, & etc.)
o Maintain servers, equipment, & VOIP systems
o Setup employee laptops & Operations workstations; interact with central (PostNL) IT if
needed
o Coordinate with vendors/various platform teams within Spring/PostNL (i.e. Pitney
Bowes, Objectif, Lune, My Spring, RPP, & etc.)
o Work cross-functionally with the various client departments teams on overall IT
developments and security initiatives
o Work with central (PostNL) IT team to improve our IT services towards customers
Internal-Security:
o Lead incident response planning, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies
o Oversee visitor access control, maintain visitor logbook and badges, and enforce
building entry/exit protocols
o Conduct weekly building inspections (interior & exterior) to identify and address security
deficiencies
o Manage physical security systems: CCTV, badge access, personnel list, and alarm
system
o On-site presence required for facility management and to respond to physical security
incidents, including investigations and documentation
o May require after-hours availability to respond to security incidents/emergencies
o Ensure compliance with building safety regulations and emergency preparedness
procedures
o Conduct regular training for staff on cybersecurity awareness and emergency
procedures
o Assist Directors with the completion of Due Diligence reports requested by customers
o Update Spring Canada Security policy as needed

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, Security Management, or related field
5+ years of experience in IT security, physical security, or infrastructure management;
experience in the logistics field, E-commerce, SME and Enterprise market space is an asset
Strong technical expert who can combine solid IT knowledge with internal security and
customer implementation/integration
Hands-on experience with both network security tools and physical access control systems
Proven track record implementing end-to-end security solutions
Experience managing security incidents, audits, and risk assessments
Strong understanding of cybersecurity and physical security principles
Understanding and knowledge of protocols such as API, FTP and CSV file transfer process
Must have a strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications and Web based software
applications
Strong ability to understand business and customer needs, and prioritize effectively while
maintaining a high degree of confidentiality
• Strong analytical/investigative skills, leadership skills, time management skills, and
presentation skills
· Able to multi-task, be self-directed, and have a strong sense of urgency
· Proven ability to communicate effectively (written & oral) via phone, email, & in-person
