As a Systems Auditor III, you will be a key player in the Technology Audit group, providing strategic guidance and independent oversight to help mitigate potential risks across the bank. You will have the chance to explore the bank's processes and provide recommendations that enhance operational performance and effectiveness. This role is multi-dimensional, supporting specific portfolios like payments, insurance, authentication, Canadian personal banking, and applications

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing and leading audit activities across various projects and initiatives:
-Conduct and Execute Audits: Perform audit work in accordance with established standards and execute end-to-end audits based on established plans.
-Risk Assessment: Develop or contribute to the audit planning process, ensuring appropriate risk assessments are completed, and leading the process to identify key risks and control gaps.
-Communication & Presentation: Manage ongoing communication with the client, present objective audit opinions, findings, and recommendations to clients and audit management.
-Follow-Up: Execute follow-up of findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits to ensure documentation is up-to-date.
-Process Improvement: Review and identify failures in internal processes, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiencies.
-Subject Matter Expertise: Act as an audit subject matter expert, coaching and educating others when needed.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience and the ability to act with the highest levels of integrity and discretion.
Must-Haves
-Experience: 5-7 years of overall experience.
-Education/Certifications: Degree in Finance, Computer Science, or Accounting, and CISA or CISSP certification.
-Hard Skills: Previous experience testing IT General Controls or Application Controls.
-Knowledge: Strong understanding of business/technology processes and operations, risk, change, and project methodologies.
-Soft Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, aptitude for exercising sound judgment, and the ability to work collaboratively.
Nice-to-Haves
-Industry Experience: Banking industry experience is preferred.
-Technical Tools: Expertise in using software tools, windows applications, data analysis, and reporting techniques.
