Responsibilities
In this Talent Management Business Partner role, you will have the opportunity to be involved in many aspects of HR. Here is an overview of your day-to-day responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Drive the full-cycle recruitment process, from attraction strategy to hiring.
- Onboarding: Manage and improve the welcoming program to ensure the quick and effective integration of new employees.
- Performance and Development: Coach managers on performance management, skills development, and employee engagement action plans.
- Employee Relations: Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, resolving conflicts and managing performance cases.
- Compliance and Administration: Ensure compliance with labor laws (CNESST, etc.), manage disability files, and facilitate employee departures.
- Compensation: Participate in salary analyses, job evaluations, and the calculation of raises and bonuses.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with managers to assess staffing needs and participate in budget planning.
- HR Data Management: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data in the HR system (HRIS).
Qualifications
This position requires you to be comfortable with recruitment strategies and the administration of HR policies and procedures. To do so, you will need the following qualifications:
- Education: University degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Bilingualism: Essential proficiency in French and English, both spoken and written.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Quebec and Ontario labor laws.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with HR Information Systems (HRIS); knowledge of ADP is a major asset.
- Certification: Certified Human Resources Professional (CRHA/CHRP) designation is an asset.
Practical Requirements:
- Valid driver's license.
- Availability for occasional travel to Ontario (approximately 10%).
- Ability to work from the Saint-Hyacinthe office at least 3 days per week.
