Advantages
Long-Term Growth: Opportunity to work on multi-year, mission-critical projects that offer significant networking visibility within the bank.
Complex Problem Solving: Engage with niche, high-complexity financial data and sophisticated vendor technologies.
Collaborative Culture: Work in a highly interactive, team-oriented Scrum environment (8–12 people per pod).
Comprehensive Onboarding: Access to structured onboarding and a dedicated week of training/shadowing to ensure your success.
Responsibilities
Requirements & Traceability: Translate intricate capital management business rules into detailed technical requirements, data mappings, and controls. Maintain comprehensive requirement traceability matrices.
Agile Delivery: Author high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria within JIRA and Confluence; participate actively in Scrum ceremonies.
Data Governance: Develop and maintain data lineage, catalogs, and documentation to ensure audit readiness and transparency.

Quality Assurance: Prepare test plans and lead triage activities to validate system functionality and data accuracy during vendor implementations.
Process Mapping: Create sophisticated data and process flow diagrams using Visio and Confluence.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units, BSAs, and technical partners to manage expectations and drive project milestones.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: 10+ years of overall experience in financial services (7+ years specifically in Business/Data Analysis for technology projects).
Technical Skills: Advanced SQL proficiency and experience with big-data concepts are required. Proven expertise in data integration and testing methodologies.
Industry Knowledge: Deep foundational understanding of financial products and Capital Markets is essential.
Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of managing senior stakeholders.
Preferred Assets (Nice-to-Have):
Experience with QRM, Axiom, or Market Risk technology implementations.
Familiarity with Credit/Capital Calculation engines.
Professional designations such as CFA, FRM, or BSA certifications.
Summary
The Senior Business / Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, implementing, and enhancing Asset Liability Management (ALM) solutions. This role is deeply integrated into an Agile delivery model (Scrum), working within a collaborative POD to de-scope legacy in-house systems and "End User Computing" (EUC) tools in favor of robust vendor platforms. You will act as the primary translator between Treasury stakeholders and technical engineering teams to ensure seamless data flows and regulatory compliance.
