Responsibilities
As a team leader yours responsabilities will be:
•Oversee receiving, warehousing, and shipping in real time to ensure a smooth and error-free flow of goods.
•Track productivity targets (KPIs) and ensure that the team processes orders within the specified time frames.
•Lead MHE operators and clerks, while providing training and support on warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Ensure strict compliance with safety standards, inspect material handling equipment, and maintain a clean work environment.
• Report results to supervisors and resolve inventory issues.
Qualifications
What is expected of the team leader:
• Permanent resident status or Canadian citizenship.
• Understanding and speaking English, as this is an English-speaking workplace.
• At least 1 year of experience as a team leader in a distribution center.
• Ability to perform physical work and lift loads.
• Ability to use technological tools such as a computer.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order preparation.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing and logistics environment.
